EVERYBODY, TAKE NOTES. THIS IS HOW AN UNBOXING VIDEO IS DONE. Props dude.
where did you buy your camera? because when i buy mine i wanat to get the kit
That’s right, I always have the screen covered with a peel-off adhesive scratch protector which in addition to protection it also doesn’t smudge & the screen always looks as clear as crystal. They’re next to nothing to buy & well worth it I find.
too bad the t1i screen smudges like no ones business
thanks..that helps alot
read your instruction book
how do you use the colour schemes..i have one but i do not know how to shoot in black and white
Whaaaat? They both make great cameras.. -_-
Definitely shoots in black and white. Lots of different color schemes.
Can this camera shoot in black and white?Does it have a mode for it?

I’m really glad this camera is released here as the 500D, this packaging and the name, rebel, makes it look cheap. Still, great camera.
Lucky you
Where did you get this?
anything canon > anything nikon
Dude, I just got mine two weeks ago…I love it. HD video is amazing. I only tested though. I can’t wait to go out and shoot some video. It’s alot better than Nikon D5000.
yeah i cant control my roommates.
Sox game in the background is annoying as hell.
Unboxing videos are awesome. I just specifically searched for this because I’m planning to get this camera soon, and I wanted too see what was in store for me.
I really want to get this camera instead of buying a dslr and an HD video camera.
And do you have a treble clef on your arm? haha
looks like it.
(read this after my first message below)
The 40D is bigger and heavier but that works well if you have larger hands and it will act as a counterweight for heavier lens. The magnesium alloy body also gives the internal mechanics more protection (I’ll be taking the camera on a lot of trekking so I know that’ll be a nice reassurance).
There’s so much more to consider but I sincerely think that you cannot go wrong with either body… the lenses are going to be more important anyway hahaha
Man… I was actually one of the first to preorder the T1i from B+H but I cancelled it that effing night after trying my friend’s 40D- no joke!
It really depends on what you want to shoot I suppose. Video is not an issue for me so it really boils down to image quality. The 6.5 fps on the 40D is important because I like to shoot sports, airplanes, wild life etc. BUT make sure you have a fast lens with that or there’s no real point.
You really video taped yourself opening the camera box!?
As far as which camera I prefer, I would say the t1I for its size and weight and of course video. But as far as pure image quality goes, the 40d is probably higher on the food chain.
