Nice video! When you refer to the 50 mm lens, it’s not kit lens, right? Could you please provide me a link to the exactly lens you are using?

Your right. It isn’t the Canon Kit lens. It’s the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. In appearance, and even the build quality aren’t that great (plastic), but it’s perhaps Canon cheapest lens and the lenses used (that thing that matters) are awesome for it’s price (100€ / 145$)
