for an absolute beginer would you recomend the 500d with an 18-55 lens or a 1000d with an 18-55 and a 75-300 lens as my walet will let me spend enough to buy one or the other
i will only be taking basic pics and hope to start a night school to learn about photography

here’s my situation..my roommate has a Canon EOS Rebel XTI and I brought it to colorado for a week to visit friends..I wanted to buy a DSLR without breaking the bank. I decided to buy the Nikon D3000 thinking it was affordable and had a lot to offer..a week later I returned it spent $200 more on a Canon T1i rebel. the T1i unlike the D3000 has a built in AF motor, sensor when you look through view finder and the button layout is simple/easy, pics are clearer; I am sticking with Canon for good.
hello, i have a question. the camera has some options, wich you can use when you want to take photos. can you use it too when you want to record a video? I’m sorry if you talked already about that in your video, but I cannot speak good english

Picked this one up. t2i was 18 megapixels. Not that much of a difference
