I have two answer which are both fine, but neither answers the “what is the largest size”. I’m interested in using the camera for days and shooting video without switching cards so I’d like to know if the camera can support a large card (16gb? 32gb?). Does anyone have experience with a large card? (sorry I didn’t say that to begin with). Thanks.

They sell up to 32 gigs of memory but I’m guessing you will not be taking thousands of pictures. So a 4 gig memory card from San Disk will give you over 500 pictures (unless your shooting raw).
You will need a fast SDHC memory card. I highly recommend the excellent, Sandisk Extreme III SDHC card in 4 or 8GB. You don’t need anything larger.
Each 4GB will allow…
approx. 740 Large/Fine Jpegs
or 180 RAW images
or 144 RAW+Jpeg
I only shoot RAW + Jpeg. That way I get an uncompressed image file (RAW) and the instant useability of a Jpeg.
Make sure you Format your new card before you use it the first time…
