Check with Canon. The older Rebels and the cameras that use compact flash cards could only use up to an 8gb card. You really don&#039;t wont to go much larger than this anyways. Memory cards fail all the time. Just hang around on this site for a while and you will see that. 

It is best to use several smaller cards and to download your pictures onto a computer often. Computer hard drives fail all the time to so the safest bet is to burn photos onto a DVD and to use a backup hard drive as well.</description>
