I’m getting the new rebel and i noticed that it doesn’t come with a memory card and was wondering how big of a sd card it is compatible with. Also any extra info on any aspect (problems, suggestions etc) feel free to post on here or shoot me an email. Thank you

Check with Canon. The older Rebels and the cameras that use compact flash cards could only use up to an 8gb card. You really don’t wont to go much larger than this anyways. Memory cards fail all the time. Just hang around on this site for a while and you will see that.
It is best to use several smaller cards and to download your pictures onto a computer often. Computer hard drives fail all the time to so the safest bet is to burn photos onto a DVD and to use a backup hard drive as well.
I bet the manual would tell you
