Question by Caleb Andrews: What are the main diffrences between the rebel t1i and t2i?
And if im a beginner photographer do i really need buy the rebel t2i? and should i get the t1i and then get a btter lens?
Best answer:
Answer by Jim A I own the t1i and it’s excellent. Yes a better lens always helps your technical quality. But knowing how to operate the camera will count for about 95% of photo quality – not technical quality, Canon and a better lens will take care of that. Operating the camera and understanding the relationship between ISO, aperture, shutter speed and light is essential for photo quality and there is a major difference between the two.
Question by Paranormal Kitty: How is the video quality on the Canon Rebel T1i?
I am needing video basically for a class I’m taking this semester, in which part of it will be a video project and editing video in Adobe After Effects. Sound quality isn’t a big issue but image quality is. Also how much video can you shoot at one time with the T1i? I considered buying an additional Vixia camcorder but I’m hesitant to spend 0 on a camcorder when I’m not really sure how much I like shooting video yet.

Answer by 9121 15.1 megapixel photos
480p or 720p video at 30 fps, 1080p video at 20 fps
14-bit analog-to-digital signal conversion
It’s pretty good, but you’d be spending a lot of money if you plan on using it primarily as a camcorder. Note that the audio is monaural and not stereo. Keep in mind that 20 frames per second may not be enough to keep up with fast action; the 30 frames @ 720p resolution would be much better for that.
