Maybe. Look for an in-camera retouch menu. If your camera has it, yes you can.

Question by Ann Onymous: What kind of protective lens should i buy for a canon t1i camera?
I just bought a canon t1i kit with the 18-55 lens and i want to get a protective lens so that dust doesn’t touch/enter the lens. I heard that getting a multi-layer UV is good because it doesn’t distort the picture. But i’m lost when it comes to the type. What’s the difference between a 52, 58, or 72mm? How do i know if a lens will fit on my camera?

the Ȕ, 58 and 72mms refer to the size of the filter… your lens will take the 58mm filter, a UV filter will do for your camera, don’t get a low profile filter, the lens cap will not stay on, on that style of filter.

Look at the front of your lens, inside the outer rim, it shows the mm size, and other lens info.
