Question by Paranormal Kitty: For anyone who has a Canon Rebel T1i, what do you think of it?
I know Canon is good for still images – I have older digital rebel already. But I’m looking to trade up and I’m intrigued by the T1i having HD video capability. Is the video quality enough for a student journalist to shoot documentary for classes? If I spend the money for this camera then I won’t be able to afford an additional video camera.

you should get it if you don’t want to lug around another camera just to take videos.

Q&A: How much for a used Canon Rebel T1i?

Question by livvyspine: How much for a used Canon Rebel T1i?
I’m looking for a decent, used Canon Rebel T1i in good condition.
How much would it probably cost, and where can I get one?
I don’t really want to get a new one at the moment; I’m on a budget and I’m not very patient at saving money either haha

thaanks!

There is no way to tell.

Look on craigslist in an city near you.

I would suggest you look for a 40D. It is the next step up from the entry level Rebel’s and is more robust of the APS-C sensored Canon DSLR’s
