I have read the manual on looked up online to learn how to use my camera, however, the terminology makes it a bit confusing. I am a simple person who wants good pictures.

I just started using the Canon T1i last yesterday, however, my pictures are blurry or too soft?

Can anyone tell me what setting it is to fix that?

Sound quality isn’t a big issue but image quality is. Also how much video can you shoot at one time with the T1i? I considered buying an additional Vixia camcorder but I’m hesitant to spend $Ȱ0 on a camcorder when I’m not really sure how much I like shooting video yet.

How do I properly expose the people and background?
The sun is behind them and I use fill flash on my camera.

I dont want silhouttes. I want the person to be properly exposed but still get the sunset in the background.
