Alex asked:

I want to buy a Canon Rebel T1i.

Do you have one? Do you like it? Do you have something you think is better?

If you have one, did you get a kit with it? Would you recommend buying an 18-55mm or 55-200? What else did you buy for it? Filters?

Thanks!

X.Box asked:

I plan to buy Canon T1i in Amazon and costing $ᗩ.95. I couldnt confirm whether the default product comes with battery. I know it wont come with memory card but dont know about batter.

Allie asked:

I’m looking into getting my first DSLR, and I’m trying to decide whether or not its worth paying the extra $100 or so for the T1i. I’m on an extremely low budget here, but I do want a camera that will last me a while.

Vega asked:

I really like the t1i but I wanna save some money too. Any close to it will do. Thanks.

Richy Mon asked:

The lens that comes with it is the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.

I am looking at two different lenses as a second set. Which one is better zoom and quality wise?

Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Zoom Lens

Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro Autofocus Lens

Thanks!

Alrighties, so I’ve been wanting a Canon Rebel for quite awhile, and since the new Canon Rebel T1i has come out I’ve been really into the idea of buying that one.

Right now, It’s pretty much 100 dollars off, at Target & Bestbuy, Is that the most it will be discounted?

asked:

Because under compatible lenses it doesn’t list the T1i but it does say digital rebel…
Thanks David, you helped, thats what i thought i was just making sure

GQGQ asked:

I want to get a dslr camera. but I question I have is which brand is better in the long run canon or nikon? I am looking for durability, and built quality, under $1000 bucks. Which of the two brands is better on the long run? as I intend to use the camera every day so it would have to take a pounding of pressing buttons, changing lenses. etc so it would have to last. I want to get a rebel t1i because of its resolution screen and the pixels.

Gina S asked:

I’m looking to upgrade. Of course, I’d loooove to upgrade to the 5d mk ii, but that’s just not financially possible for me right now. I’m looking in the $1ᒴ price range. I was looking at the 50D, but I’ve seen enough poor reviews to convince me otherwise. I use a 40D at work, and I love it. Although, it bothers me that I’d be upgrading to a camera that has less megapixels. Even though I KNOW that the 40D is a better camera with more options. I *could* always upgrade to the new T1i, but it’s basically the same thing as the xsi and I want to try to get away from the rebel series.

What about the original 5D? Being as the mark ii recently came out, I’d imagine the price on the 5D will continue dropping. Even though it’s an older camera, would anyone say it’s a good upgrade to the xsi?

Initially, I shoot mainly bands (live and promotional) and head shots. I also do a lot of nature and landscapes. I’m starting to touch the surface with wedding photography, which is why I’m looking to upgrade now. I’m happy enough with my xsi, but I feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s the full frame. ::shrugs::
