I am more advanced than an amateur, but I have not yet sold any photography, so I’m not professional. I’m ready for my first DSLR, and I’m wondering if the Canon T1i would be a good camera for me. Is it something I can grow with?
I’ve done some research on it, but can’t seem to find this:
How fast can it take photos on rapid fire?
I’m looking into getting my first DSLR, and I’m trying to decide whether or not its worth paying the extra $100 or so for the T1i. I’m on an extremely low budget here, but I do want a camera that will last me a while.
Question by jlh: What is a good telephoto lens to add to a Canon T1i?
I have a Canon T1i which came with an EF-S 55-250 lens and an EF-S 18-55. I would now like to add a couple of additional lenses. I am interested in Macro photography and would also like a longer telephoto lens. I am an amateur and do not want to spend thousands. What would be the next logical lenses to buy? They don’t have to be Canon lenses necessarily.
I also want to buy a strobe and like Sunpak.
Any suggestions.

Answer by Jim A First I own a Canon 1000D and I recommend nothing but Canon lenses. Third party lenses offer attractive prices but the glass is normally of lesser quality.
That said I have 3 Canon lenses, the 18ᇋ, a 28-200 (best I have) and a 75-300 which does well when I actually use it. In my opinion a general lens would be your best bet. Something that’s fairly wide at the bottom but has a pretty good reach. As I see it the 55-250 is pretty good but it’s not wide enough to leave on your camera as I do with my 28-200. I do that because every time I change I’m opening my sensor to dust and dirt.
just my thoughts – good luck

I just bought my first DSLR- a canon t1i. I like it so far, but I hate flashes on canons, they are a bright white that washes out whatever I am shooting. I try to refrain from flash usage if I can help it but there are certain times that it is just needed, especially with how dimly lit my house is. Are there any better external flashes that i can use that wouldnt give such a white out effect?
I plan to buy Canon T1i in Amazon and costing $8ǩ.95. I couldnt confirm whether the default product comes with battery. I know it wont come with memory card but dont know about batter.
